Shipping

Why is shipping charged separately, after I pay for my products?

Your product total is charged at checkout. Shipping is charged separately once your order is produced, because final freight depends on your order's finished specifications — size, weight, quantity, and which vendor fulfills it. Rather than pad your total with a flat guess, we wait until those are known so you're billed the actual freight. At checkout you choose whether we charge shipping to your card automatically when it's ready, or send you a separate invoice for it.

What are my shipping-charge options?

“Charge my card automatically” — we charge the same card for freight once it's calculated, so there's nothing more for you to do. “Invoice me separately” — we email you an invoice for the freight to pay when you're ready.

Payment

When is my card charged?

Your product total (including tax) is charged when you place your order. Shipping is charged later — see the Shipping section above. Clicking “Pay” authorizes the charge for the amount shown on the button.

Why do I enter my address before I see the total?

Sales tax depends on where your order ships, so we calculate your exact tax and final total after you enter your shipping address. That's why checkout has a “Continue to payment” step — it locks in your total before you pay.

Orders & Accounts

Do I need an account to order?

No — you can check out as a guest with just your email. If you've ordered before, you can sign in at checkout with a secure link we email you, and your past orders are linked to your account automatically.
